Not sure if I want to sell it, but may for the right offer. Here's some info about the car:

1998 Audi A4 2.8 30V motor, Timing belt just went out on it.

The car just rolled 116k miles and had the 5spd transmission replaced aprrox. 2k miles ago.

    Some good about the car:
    -Body is extremely straight
    -PA inspected til 6/08
    -All accessories work
-rear tires only have a few thousand miles
-clean interior, no rips in seats
    -S-line steering wheel
    -Bilstein/H&R Suspension
    -Rieger Aero kit
    -Remus cat-back exhaust

    Some bad about the car:
    -Obviously the broken T-Belt
-Front door cards have extra holes, where the previous owner had other speakers installed.
-The front end has a lot of rock chips from highway driving
    -Missing headlight washer covers.

Here are some quick pics I took, if I get a decent price for it I'll sell it, if not I'll just make it a little project. Looking to get around $2950

Sorry if this is a dumb question but....I'm a Audi newbie looking to buy an A4

if the timing belt breaks on a 2.8 does it cause damage to the valves and possibly putting a hole in a piston??

It will damage the valves, but I have never seen it damage the piston. I have found heads for $400.
