    Ze popping is gone!

This is what it really sounds like.

2.5in straight (fairly) pipe to a magnaflow muffler with Silverline tips.

In this vid, my converter is failing which is sweet tastic. If I keep my car, test pipe comes very soon!

    Re: Updated exhaust vid

definitely sound nice. One of the nicer non-resonated setups imo.

Just too aggressive for me for a daily driver... Don't get me wrong, my car screams too, but only at WOT

testpipe on your car will be ridiculous. Any WOT driveby shots?

Not yet, I will have some on Saturday though.

It really isn't loud when I'm just casually driving. Some people are actually shocked when I tell them I have exhaust. Test pipe will be super fun.

My Saabaru buddy runs open DP (he lost screws when he had to unbolt his exhaust to drop his trans for a clutch install) and so does my MazdaSlow6 buddy, now THAT is loud. great god.

Yeah minus the god awful rear diff bolts.

IDK how many times I've had to help him put his diff back into place. The bolts blow ass. He works as a mechanic (my mechanic actually hahaha) so he just welded some weird contraption to hold them in.. but God damn. Last time I had to lay in a puddle helping him put it back together.

Lol, in person he definitely spun all four. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since it was filmed on a fairly crappy camera and hosted on YouTube.

yeah yeah i saw the 4 wheeler spin, its just that i beleive those cars awd ratio, is 60-40 or 70-30 fwd biased and, it spun like a fwd. When a4-s4 spin wheels is usually the back, anD the front catches track. thus the car moves likE a bat out of hell.a4-s4(b5) are 50-50 i beleive!

    Re: Updated exhaust vid

I believe our cars are a 60/40 Torsen set up.

Mazda's varies by what the ECU tells it to do. It's FWD until it feels a slip or reaches 20mph. Also, when the e-brake is pulled, it becomes FWD. It's pretty lame.

There has been recent thread all over about the Torsen. The bias is actually 2.6:1, which is very close to 60/40 split. You must remember tho, the bias only maxes out at those numbers. It isn't 60/40 all the time. Also, some argue that a more extreme bias is actually better for performance, but i won't get technical. If you interested check out k0mpresd's threads for DYI modded 1 piece diff.

Also, have you ever pulled the ebrake in a FWD car? it's feckin awesome. Thats a great feature to have it switch over.

No. Dont think of it as more biased towards a certain side. The bias refers to how much torque gets sent to the tires with most resistance, versus the the tires with less resistance (ie. spinning tires)
