Mazda's varies by what the ECU tells it to do. It's FWD until it feels a slip or reaches 20mph. Also, when the e-brake is pulled, it becomes FWD. It's pretty lame.
There has been recent thread all over about the Torsen. The bias is actually 2.6:1, which is very close to 60/40 split. You must remember tho, the bias only maxes out at those numbers. It isn't 60/40 all the time. Also, some argue that a more extreme bias is actually better for performance, but i won't get technical. If you interested check out k0mpresd's threads for DYI modded 1 piece diff.
Also, have you ever pulled the ebrake in a FWD car? it's feckin awesome. Thats a great feature to have it switch over.
