Before I get into anything, please excuse the dirty car, it was parked in my driveway and a plow puked all over her, and it's raining today so I'm not taking her to the car wash till tomorrow.

Start to finish on the job was about 2 hours. It's not a tough job mechanically but it's a little bit of a bitch to get everything to fit correctly. My lights have the dual back doors as opposed to the one single back door as the bi-xenon lamps have.
This install involves removing the old ballast and bulb from the old headlamp and installing it on the new housing.

1. Remove the Drivers side headlamp from the car. There are 4 torx (star) screws holding in the lamp, two on top and two below. The top two screws need to be completely removed while the bottom two should only be loosened half way.

2. Set the housing aside. In this picture you will notice two major visible differences.
First off the bi-xenon projector lens is larger than the single xenon projector. And secondly the inside of the housing is "S4" gray as opposed to the standard silver.

3. You will see two wire harness connectors on a bracket. These will need to be removed. To remove them you press in the pointy pin and pry open the two tabs on the top.

4. Remove the xenon bulb (and high beam halogen and turn signal if you will be transferring these as well) and unplug it from your old housing.

5. Remove the ballast from the old housing. It is secured by 6 torx screws. You will need an additional 4 torx screws of this same size later on so if you can run to home depot or to your dealer mid install so you don't have to pull out the housings again.

6. This is everything you need to transfer over into your new headlamps (except the back door from the old headlamps, I was just using this to hold the screws and if you will be using the old high beam bulb and turns they will have to be switched as well.

7. Install the xenon lamp into the projector of the new housing, connect the wires to the ballast (the power and the bulb wire) and screw in the ballast. You will need the two extra torx screws you picked up here. You should see two holes on the left and right sides of the ballast on the access door. This is what the back of the completed housing should look like

8. Now just reinstall the headlamp unit in the car as the old one came out. You will most likely have to re-aim them but that can be handled by another write-up. Once it is tightened down in the car this is what you have: xenon on left bi-xenon on right. Off: On: Bi-xenon on the left xenon on the right

9. Now onto the passenger side. First step is to remove the black plastic air intake. This is accomplished by removing two Phillips screws and a little pulling and tugging. Removed:

10. Remove the headlamp in the same way you did with the driver's side.

11. Transfer all parts over as you did with the driver's side.

12. You will need to remove the headlight wiring harness from the clip inside the front fender to get some slack in it. This tube coming off the air box also prevents a problem. You will have to move the tube and headlight to get it to fit in correctly, again due to the larger size of the bi-xenon housing.

13. Install the headlamp in the same way as the first one but you will have to wiggle it around to get the parts to fit correctly. This will get frustrating but there isn't much you can do. I'm going to try to get a spare wiring harness from the dealership to extend the length of it so that it isn't as tight.

THESE ARE BRIGHT!!! I have to get some xenon match bulbs for the halogens tho. They remind me of my Hella driving lights I had on my jeep a few years ago. This picture does not really do any justice what so ever but you can get a feel for how bright the reflective signs are in the distance.
