    Hissing around/in front of radiator

I hear this low-tone "hissing" noise coming out from somewhere behind my radiator.

Is that something to be worried about AND what could possibly make that noise?

Sounds like the A/C condensor leaking to me. You done any work lately on that area of the car?

Just put in a new oil filter, changed the oil and just finished my brakes today. Gonna put in the 710s that I got from VAST later today.

Is it an easy fix or do I need to take it to the shop?

Depends what really is the problem. You may have cracked or bumped loose one of your A/C lines. Try and get a better idea of where exactly the sound is coming from. I accidentally stepped on my condenser switch when my condenser was off and cracked the aluminum. I still need to take my car in and get the A/C system evacuated, then get the crack welded, and have the system recharged.

    Horrible!

    1. Guys at Induktion sent me the wrong brakes
    2. Had to drive around ALL over Northern VA to find brakes...even had to settle for Advance Auto Part brakes...no one carries them.
    3. Finally found a pair at Olympus Auto Parts, ceramic pads...$180.

...so I went to go inspect the 'hissing'. I notice that when I revv, the hissing becomes more louder...

    Diagnosis?

Try turning on the ECON mode on the climate control and go try revving it again.

    Just finished installing the 710DVs.

Hissing seems to be gone now, even with the ECON mode on. Is it normal for a car to hiss after a long drive? Specifically, is it normal for the car to hiss after you pushed it full throttle?

Re: Hissing around/in front of radiator

The ECON on makes it so the A/C is not active. If the ECON being on made the car not hiss, and it does his without the ECON on, then your A/C system has a leak somewhere.
If ECON has nothing to do with it, it is probably a boost leak somewhere. In which case, you should pressure test the system.
