New S4

I went down to the dealer and ordered my new S4 today! Silver,alcantara, 6 speed of course, premium,sound, and cold weather packages, and the carbon fiber trim. I'm getting a 2005 so I get to wait 3 or 4 months. If I had stayed around here more I would have ended up spending all of my money modding my A4 and would have never got my S4!

congtrats on the purchase! bad news though, you still got a lot of modding to do. i was doing research for a customer today and you can gain 40+ whp with just a full exhaust and ecu.

Whats wrong with AT transmission?!?!?! I actually prefer it over the 6MT. But nice pickup, You'll enjoy it very much.

AMD makes the chip as well as an exhaust with DP's. Most people are going with the Miltek w/DP's though. On the AMD chip, there has not been reliable before and after dyno's from an independent source as of yet.

Milltek Downpipe, Milltek exhaust, OCT software ... i think thats the setup that people were talking about from Stratmosphere

Cars are evil I think. I've been looking at wheels and exhausts for the last hour.

My supervisior at work is going to buy the 3.0. She threatening to take it now and make me drive her Maxima until my S4 gets here. I told her I'd rather walk to work!

It's been about 75-80 degrees. A little cloudy in the afternoon. Theres been a few thunder storms.

I couldnt get to the computer until an hour ago! I had to stop by the dealer on the way home and look at the S4's again. If only they had what I want on the lot.

You drive a better car than your supervisor! You are my hero. Now that I think of it, I drive a nicer car than anyone I work with and anyone in my family for that matter.

I can't wait till I graduate and get a decent job with my degree. Just got to weigh the options then. S4 or down payment on a house?

Guess we all know the answer to that. Can't drive a house to work.

Hmmm, Misano, White and Ocean are nice too--I'd have a hard time choosing!

And definite props for driving a nicer car than your supervisor. I'd have a tough time, my boss has a Lexus SC430 but I'd much prefer an S4!

She will be completely happy with the A4. It beats her Maxima. That's the price she pays for having 3 kids.

I don't have a mortgage right now. I'm not sure where I want to live forever yet. It will probably be here in Tahoe.

I work at a hospital so there are lots of nice cars around. There's an RS6 that I have to check out at least once a week. When my mom asked what I was paying for the S4 I told her not to ask questions when she really didnt want to hear the answer. She said I was probably right and she didnt want to know.

Finishing school is so nice. I finished just over two years ago and am finally buying all of the things I always wanted.

As for the house or car- right now for me it's the car. Rent in Tahoe isnt that high. If I decide to stay here I'll buy eventually, but right now I want toys! I sold my house where I used to live so I have a couple of years before I have to do something with the money.

(that's pretty brave of those peeps who drive nicer cars than their bosses......they'll think you wouldn't need a raise! shoot if my subordinates drove nicer cars than me...something is really wrong! ahahhaha)

I went to Lithia Audi in Reno. $50,030. I got a slightly cheaper quote out of Sacramento but the salesman was a jerk. Lithia in Reno has been pretty good to me so I wanted to stick with them. They have let me test drive used S4's 4 different times over the last few months and have never once tried to pressure me into buying one.
