How do you know it didnt work in the first place? I thought I had mine programmed wrong then I found out you need the key in the ignition to make it work. Plus, you need to hold it down for a couple seconds, then my garage door opened. You cant just quickly press it and expect it to work.

What type of device are you trying to program into Channel one? A garage door opener? Has it worked before? I have a garage door opener that changes its frequency automatically, I forget what it is called exactly. I had to teach the garage door opener to accept the signal from the homelink by pressing a button on the garage door opener and then pressing the homelink button, once it is programmed. Now it works.
