um well at ecs tuning (http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...egory=Lighting) they sell two types of headlight replacements one for xenon and one non xenon what is the difference seeing as neither come with xenon components and i assume they both have projectors?

    A few differences.....

    1. Cut-off shield in the projector. The beam pattern is controlled differently in Xenon projectors.
    2. Type of bulb required. HID will require a D2S bulb. Halogen will require an H7 base bulb.
    3. The bottom of halogen projectors is closed whereas the HID ones have an opening to mount ballasts.

There may be more but these I know....

    Huh?!?!?!

The cut off is the same between Xenon and Halogen E-Codes... difference is just the simple fact that it has cut outs in the bottom for the OEM ballast.

The projection glass is different between US-Spec and E-Codes for the simple fact that the US-Spec has ridges embossed into the glass vs a smooth surface on the E-Codes.

Other than that everything else you mentioned is correct.

Are you sure about that? I was told the cut-off is different and if you put HIDs into halogen projectors, you will get a very sharp cut-off, but not with the HID projectors. Have you taken them apart before? I haven't.

The actual lens is not different from halogen to HID. Except when compared to ecode projectors.
