ok so basically i had a 12' Type S Aline sub form my old car and bought another sub (same obviously), a bassworx box its for 2 12's and its ported...i had a alpine v12 mono 300 amp but it just blew and so i bought a planet audi 2 channel 150x2 amp...

so i installed it based on this write up
    http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec29.shtml

works great however i have no rear speakers...
my first question is if i can connect the harness and have my rear speakers working? i have this question because the rear speakers are amplified so....

also i need to get a deck but i will only buy a screen like the apline iva-d300 ive had 2 screens in the past two years and iwll never go back to a regular deck...anwyays is thee a mounting kit available for a 2001 or does it have to be custom...

also what dot hey majority of people replace their speakers with, kinds, sizes....

    thanks alot

only question I can actually answer is the speaker one. Stock front speakers are components, 4" mids with a .75" tweeter up top. You can fit 5.25 mids and a 1" tweeter in the stock spots though. The rear deck is 6.5 and I'm not sure about the rear doors (bose only), but i'm pretty sure they're 5.25s but they may be 6.5s. For the best imaging, i'd suggest making some custom kick panels and putting a set of 6.5 components up there. The stock front door positions suck.

Popular companies to replace the stock system with are MB Quart, Focal, Boston Acoustic, the list could go on.

you'd have to get new (or used) bose-ready rear door panels as that's where the speakers are mounted. I'm not sure whether the door is prewired for the speakers either. Personally i don't think it's worth it. More speakers aren't always better. I know people who have won imaging competitions with just a set of components up front and no rear deck speakers.

To get my rear speakers working I used RCA outputs and spliced them into the stock wiring harness. GL
i like my black girls clean and my white girls dirty.
doesn't matter either way they're all out to hurt me.
