S4 brakes on an B5 A4...

so did a little searching and wud like a definitive answer:

Mint 2001 S4 front brakes. 6K miles.
Complete front Calipers w/ good pads, sensors, brake lines and rotors.
will not fit on my car even if i have 17" S4 wheels and FWD?

I'm fairly certain these won't fit FWD cars. You need S4 hubs, and they have larger driveshaft splines so won't fit the std 1.8T items.

I never got around to playing with the CV joints, you may find the 1.8T driveshaft will fit into the S4 CV, meaning you can fit the hub that way.
