Finally Pics of New Car -- Rare Crimson Red

Hey Ziners,

Snapped some pics of my new car today. For those who replied to my thread debating between Dolphin Gray and Crimson Red, thanks to those that helped nudge me towards the red. I really enjoy the color. I've still yet to see a car identical to mine anywhere. Also, the beige interior is great. It provides for a uplifting feeling everytime I get in as opposed to black.

color looks great.....I love the beige too but how come I got a different trim color? I got the oldies look to mine. Oh well..

Just my opinion but the mud flaps dont look that great...maybe if they were red too

Hmm... the aluminum style trim came in the sports package. It may be different here in Canada. If your trim is the same color as the one on the Audi webpage, I don't think that looks bad at all. And I think you're right with the mud flaps. I'll admit they don't look the part, but they really keep the dirt and rocks off the paint behind the wheels. On my old car, I had many chips there from driving through the winters.

Crimson red is nice. I like that color. But for some reason it reminds me of all the Soccor moms and their "crimson red look alike" Nissan Quests.

But in all honesty, I like that color alot.

Each to his own, but I had light grey interior in a previous vehicle and it held up pretty well. I enjoyed the color too. By the way, that's the coolest red I've seen on a car. COOL!

I just had the car REVO'd and I just finished putting in NGK v-power copper plugs. The chip woke up the car up to 5000rpm, and the plugs help sustain the pull a bit more past 5000rpm. Good combo.

Right now I want:

- A bigger turbo (doesn't everyone) and Injectors
- FMIC
- BoostedTech CAI (undecided)
- Exhaust
- Lower my car
- SSK (undecided if I want one, the shifting is decent stock)

Thanks for all the complements. The beige interior is really nicer in person for all those naysayers, but I respect all opinions.

Great color - the only drawback are tan interiors, they look great now, but are hard to hide dirt later on.

I take very good care of my car inside and out so I hope it won't become too much of a problem (cross fingers).

My 01 Jetta's interior didn't look the best after 3 and a half years of use. I like tan, especially with that color, I just wish it didn't show everything. :)

BTW I notice you have the sport package - did the you have them add the trunk spoiler when you bought the car?

Actually this car was already on the lot with the spoiler installed beforehand. I believe the price of it was something stupid like 900 CAD. or around 700 USD. I probably wouldn't have done it if it wasn't already on, but it sure looks nice. Considering you get get an M3 spoiler OEM for a couple hundred bucks (ignoring ebay) plus say 150 for painting, it's a little overpriced I'd have to say.
