i think it treads in the center to adjust it then a lock nut stops it. This is pretty common design.

It is actually a very nice piece for the money. I have one but I am having issues mounting it due to my battery setup, I bought a new battery with the terminals on the opposite side and it keeps touching the bar and arking :S gotta figure something out this spring.

yea def worth the money i have the same one and it works well. the center has an adjustable nut to adjust the length of the bar. Works well... def a good ebay buy.

will this increase undrsteer? Should i jack my rear sway from softest to middle setting when i install the strut bar?

I would try it. The best way to install the stb is to jack the front end up then install it and adjust the middle part then lower it back to the ground

That is how I've done all my stb. You want it to keep it straight as possible eliminting the flex. That is the whole point of a stb to connect the suspension points to firm them up w/o letting them flex

unbolt your strut mounts, put the strut bar over the strut mounts, bolt your strut mounts back up.

That is what I suggested. By lifting both front tires off the ground then bolt the stb on. Then lower the car back down.

Im thinking that u can unbolt once its lifted up and then bolt it back up before u lower it. Im thinking the reason to doing this is to get the straiting frame connection possible without having one side higher then the other leaving it uneven...?

Yeah you have the right idea. Remove any tension/strain from the suspension (including mounting points). Let the chassis etc sit in its natural, unloaded state. You only have to undo 2 of the 3 bolts, so other bolt should hold mount/shock etc in place.
