Does REVO have Big Turbo Software?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey,

Does REVO sell its own software for an upgraded turbo. ie. K-04 or E05. I know Ecode has their own program, but does REVO have one for sale of its own?

    Thanks!

    Thanks guys!

I was just wanted to know if I could upgrade my turbo in the future and not have to pay for a full software upgrade again. Not sure if this is right, but my local REVO dealer said if I wanted to upgrade my turbo in the future that I'd only have to pay the difference on the software on my stock K03 to whatever I do.

REVO needs to update their webpage more often with more detailed information.

So which turbo upgrades do they support? K04, K05, T28...

I did search but it's hard to find specific information.

That is true, you want have to buy new software if you upgrade your turbo. Price diff is only $199 from standard to big turbo software.
They'll even do custom stuff for the same price.

Thanks for all the help zemun2. The problem is that my local REVO tuner here in Canada doesn't seem that well versed in doing any custom tuning. (It's a Toyota Dealership, yeah go figure) So I was hoping that REVO could just email them the new program and then they could just upload the new software. I really don't want to take my ECU out and ship it to the States, like Eurocode would want.

So I guess I'm asking: Can I just buy the K04 and injectors, install those myself, then get a reflash from my local tuner? Simple as that?

You should try contacting REVO directly.
That seems very doable to me though.

In my opinion it would be foolish not to take out your ECU and send it to Eurocode. Good luck finding a REVO dealer in Canada with the experience tuning Audis that David has.

To get the most out of your software, you should consider getting a Vag-Com, and a SPS-3.

Turbo cars are very tricky and the software loves to take away power when the conditions are not ideal, IE: boost, fuel, temperature and timing.

David can help you out with plugs, timing, fueling and boost.

Send your ECU to David and have him do it for you.

In Edmonton eh?? I know the guy in Van won't change the standard Revo programming as well. The guy in Van is a tech at Fountain tires, go figure. The next cloest Revo dealer is in Ontario, too far. Invest in a SPS3, and ask around for all the different "system" values. This way, you can learn and troubleshoot the problem in the future.
