well i was hooking up my air fuel ratio gauge today an i noticed my stock fpr was on still...i never opend the one that came with the awe kit so i dont know what it looked like, but it looked like it was welded on and the people who did my setup never installed my fpr....so my main questions are does anyone have or cud take a pic of there fpr and also is this making me run rich/lean? and now shud i get new injectors?

how do you know it wasnt installed. I garuantee it isnt welded on. And the replacement fpr will look exactly like the stock one so you really can't tell you just have to trust them.

Go to this link to see some photos of a fpr installation and you can see that it looks like it is welded on but it isntl
    FPR replacement

**EDIT** Those air fuel ration gauges are not the most accurate unless you have a really good (expensive) O2 sensor. You might want to think about an EGT gauge (around $120 ) if you are concerned.

As far as the injectors well, I think you can remember that I have already weighed in on this one

the FPR is not welded in it has a black clip that holds it in... look on the FPR that you have that they gave back to you , it should say which one it is..... the little seat that the FPR sits in is welded on to the fuel rail.... what is your little disco blinky gauge saying you are running lean or something?

    Correct.

If the timming is set for 273cc injectors than putting bigger ones on will make him run really rich. Unless of course he backs off the fuel flow with an adjustable FPR.

Personally I dont like the idea of maxing out the injectors like AWE and Neuspeed do but I guess they know what they're doing. Like I said, check the EGT. I dont know much about VAG-COM because I have neverd used a VAG but can that tell him if the knock sensors are seeing predetionation?
