    anyone have pics...?

i'm pretty sure i'm gonna have to drop the car about 1.2 up front and 1.0 in the rear to get the look i want...

i just don't want to get wheels before i do the suspension if it's going to look whack...

but the car seems to have a reasonable wheel gap from the factory, but there is always room for improvement...

I personally think the car is too high. But the summer is almost over and the winter is setting around the northeast. Probably do suspension work next spring. Or do the suspension now and buy a 99 A4 or something to beat around in the snow.

yeah i was thinking that we only have a few more months until we start getting some shitty weather...

but i've always run a lowered suspension on all my cars even in the winter, and never really had any issues...

even if i went with the 1.0" drop for now, i don't think it would affect my snow driving...

a beater car is a good idea, but i tried that before when i bought a 2000 Jetta 1.8T last fall, and proceeded to put an Eibach ProSystem, 17" Longbeach wheels, Milltek catback, APR DP, APR 93 chip, Hyperboost DV, Autotech CAI, 337 pedals, a new shift knob / boot, tint, clear sidemarkers, the Hella Euro tails, Monster mats and some other shit...

so, for me, there really is no "beater"...
