these guys also sell a shitload of bulbs:

    http://www.ambulbs.com/

I bought there in house brand..and they lasted longer then the city lights they sent me, but still not that long. I'm thinking maybe 3-4 months, but I forget.

They should definitely last longer than that. I've been running the AdvancedOptik H7s for a very long time. There are various lengths of warranty too, all you have to do is ask.

I will admit, they are great with the whole warranty thing. My city lights burnt out very quick, they sent me a new set no questions asked. So I just ended up putting my stockers back in though. Once they burnt out, I threw in the replacement epi city lights, and sure enough, they burnt out pretty quick. Its a hassle to me to keep calling, requesting new bulbs, then installing them (even though it doesn't take long), etc. etc... that I just roll with stock now.

Yeah the H6Ws didn't last long, I've gone through a few sets myself. Every other one I've ran though has been great, like the H7s. No problems at all.

i'm thinking about maybe switching over to led h6w's eventually...although i'm not too keen on having to splice wires and install that load equalizer thing everyone talks about.

My EPi H11 Ultra-Blue fogs are still going after a year or more. City Lights never lasted more then 3-4 months though.

Yeah I've been thinking of trying the LEDs as well, just seems like a bit of a pain. Actually trying to find some yellowish H6Ws, but no one seems to make them.

Can you put 80w lightbulbs on the foglights without melting anything?

They "shouldn't" melt anything, but I'd be a little wary of running higher than 70W all the time. You would also want to look into upgrading your wiring harnesses.

i ordered 2 sets from AMSbulbs... 1 set of the white, and 1 set of the yellow... i'll see which one i prefer...

i know a problem with the whites is they suck in any kind of foul weather... whereas the yellows are for those situations...

of course the yellow might not look cool enough though...
