    dose anyone know if we can hook up the ipod to our audis, like they do bmws now? all you do is hook up the power thing and put it in your glove compartment and you can controll it from your radio. thats ****in awsome! i saw the comercial and i was wondering if you could do it to audis? late!

    Alpine has a better solution. You can even control via a Alpine HU and see on the display all the iPod info.

    actually, audi has a solution that i believe is called phatbox. its not all that cheap, and its permanately attached to the car. i'm not sure what models it works on, but is basically like an ipod for your car. ask your dealer, they will be thrilled and maybee give you a deal. the dealer near me hasnt sold any of the units audi gave them. no one really even knows it exists.

    blitzsafe makes an ipod adapter but you don't get the song/title display on your Audi factory HU.

    nope, phatbox is a removable hard drive that first inplace of the CD changer. IIRC it's like 20 or 40gb and the MP3 data shows up on the stock concert and symphony H/U
