    I had my 19s for about a day before I curbed one (at the dealership picking up the OEM center caps of all places). It took a chunk out of the tire as well. The rims had less than 50 miles on them. I was so angry I was going to put them up for sale that day. I heard them crunch on the curb and I wanted to shoot myself right then.

    Looks like you can repair those pretty easy. Thats weird, your tires look fine. I pulled off about a 4 inch section of tire (that part that sticks out to protect your rims. Yeah, it did a great job). Sucks though. Hope everything works out, I love you car.

    I feel your pain. I have had probably 15+ different sets of aftermarket rims on all the cars I have had and never curbed one. Shortly after I got my new rims on the audi I curbed one and felt like shit. Then I moved out here and in the first two months I mangaged to curb all three of the other wheels. I am embarassed to drive around even though I am probably one of the few people that actually notice that kind of thing.

    Yeah, I daily drove my CRX and never curbed any of the rims on them. The rims were dead rare too and on 15's. But the first two weeks I had my AXIS on my A4, I curbed the shit out of one of the rims and felt like punching the car. Damn 19's.
