    Hi All,

I know this doesn't intrest many on this board but since it's the best Audi board I can find I would like to contribute in an effort to bring more in.

I just had the 2005 MMI Sofware installed on my brand new 2004 A8 yesterday. It seems to have fixed the bugs. It adds all of the Satellite Radio software and adds a nifty little clock in the bottom section of the screen. Functions of the car seem to run better also. Things like the different suspension settings and the solar sunroof work better.

Technician told me the Bluetooth phone software will be available later this year so I can work my Bluetooth phone. The tech I had was definitely the most knowledgeable person I have talked to regarding this car. He was a European White Guy who really seemed to enjoy working for Audi.

He and I talked a lot about the car as I guarantee he was the only person at any Audi dealership in Atlanta that knew more about this car than me. I showed my sales guy how the car works. Same with BMW. None of the peple that work at these dealerships know anything about the cars.

I'm glad to see you had such a pleasant experience at your dealership. It's always nice to leave the dealer feeling satisfied rather than dejected, haha. Unfortunately, a lot of sales people don't know much anything about the cars. I test drove a TT 3.2 and the guy was trying to tell me abuot DSG (and not doing a very good job) but I just kinda let him finish. Sad, but oh well, heh.

What dealership was this, if yuo don't mind saying...
