what's the offset of your Audi Picano rims? The offset on my OEM rims were 45 with 205/55-R16 tires. Assuming your offset is also 45, adding wider tires will bring the edge of the tire closer to the suspension components.

Most aftermarket rims for Audi have an offset of 35. Since the offset is set to be further away from the suspension, the tire edge won't be so close to the suspension components when mounting wider 225 tires.
