Bitzsafe adaptor install, grounding point behind HU?

I just got my Blitzsafe adaptor today and radio removal keys today, I pulled the radio out and checked out the back of the HU. I understand exactly how the blitzsafe connector will hook up, but my only question is where to ground it? I have heard you can tap into the brown wire on the stock harness but I don’t want to cut into that. Is it ok to just connect it to a screw that is touching bare metal on the back of the head unit itself? I can get a pic of the screw if needed, but I am pretty sure I saw it mentioned in an install guide somewhere. Otherwise is there a screw back there that touches bare metal I can remove and ground it to? I hope the back of the head unit is fine to do, but I know the ground is important so I don't want to mess it up.

I grounded my dension unit just to one of the bolts of the head unit...worked fine.

IIRC, we grounded it to one of the bolts on the support frame. 2+ years without any problems.

the ground wire for my blitzsafe is the black wire coming in from the right of this pic.... the brown wire that is tapped (under the tape) is the radio ground

if you ground to a bolt or screw, be sure to rough the metal up real good with sandpaper or a grinding wheel or something.

Install went smooth, I grounded it to the head unit, it is working fine and I am very happy. I ran the wire under the center console and it comes out right between the pass seat so you don't really see the wire, and my Creative Vision M fits perfectly in the center console pocket. Yes, an Ipod will work fine, in fact I am currently using a 80GB classic, as my Creative player broke, just get the right RCA to 3.5 cable and you will be all good my friend.
