Just Carfaxed my car...

Found out that the known to be faulty MAF has already been updated. Thats great! Now I don't have to worry bout that. Carfax is awesome, shows shedualed maintance times and all. Too bad it was 25$ for unlimited....still seems kinda pricey for info on my car. :( Eh, whatever.

You mean it reported the MAF had been replaced on YOUR car? Or your year model has the updated MAF?

I can't even get Carfax to tell me correctly whether a car has been in an accident or not. I read there was a class action suit against them...the suit claims that the company cannot check accident reports in 23 states and that Carfax's information is only updated every 6 months, so consumers may not be finding out the truth behind the car they are purchasing.

carfax is only informative. never base purchasing a car based off of them.
i carfaxed my old Accord which I know was in an accident b4 I bought it and one while i owned it and neigher was on carfax.
so hearing that their info isnt updated doesnt suprise me.
