Another update on the North American PSS 9 suspension kit and you won't believe...

    What I have to say...

All I can say is that no matter what line of business you deal in a salesman will always be a product pusher to me. Those moron don't even know what they are selling.

Anyway here is the latest and I hope most accurate info on the kit. I talked directly to the person in charge of technical (for a future mod on my kit) and I told him that I could not believe the changes in the North American version of the kit. He said "WHAT CHANGES?" It appears that after all is said and done the kits are exactly the same as far as the shocks, shock valving and springs used. The only difference is that they reversed to the top the rear spring height adjustment, it is now easier to get at.

So there you go never believe in a salesman's talk.

    Are they really stiff??
Which is the downside of using them on the street?
only comfort, or will I loose some traction?

It is possible that you will hop over some uneven bumps in the road but that could probably be rectified by adjusting it. The only street drawback is that it's going to be a bit stiff and bouncy, but that's no drawback in my book :)

Good also my car is heavier than normal, so the springs will get softer whith time.

IMO they are overkill in street driven car. There are just too many adjustments you will never use.

Two of my friends got them (for 2000 S4 and 2001 A3) but they do a lot of autocrossing. They both love this kit.

    the ride is bouncy?

wtf is up with that? 1600 for a bouncy ride... do you speak from experience..

my H&R's on my corrado are no where near bouncy... they skip over uneven surfaces, and have a short travel, but arent bouncy at all.....

the dampners take care of that...
