    best place to buy HRE's...

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I may have been sucked in...

I'm just wondering if the prices listed on HRE's site are what people actually sell them for...

I'm assuming not, but who knows...

I can get a hell of a deal on some Champion Motorsport RF33's with the new Michelin PS2's... they'll be over $1000 off, and come to about $4500...

Can i get HRE's in that price range...? I'm interested in the 843R's...

contact dolphin s or projekt 8e over on the b6 a4 forums on audiworld (although dolphin s is on the b6 s4 forums also). They seem to have an in for pretty good prices on hre's from what I hear.

We will be more than happy to help you out with your HRE needs. We are an official dealer for HRE and have helped out both of those vehicles. Please email [email protected] or call us at 949-861-8863 and ask for Andy. I'm sure we can work something out to fit your price range. Thank you.

hmm...i would go with carrozzeria design...although i've never done business wth them, they're an AZ advertiser and have alot to lose if this first big transaction doesnt go through. so i think they'll be really helpful to make sure it works out for you!

thanks for all the feedback fellas...

we'll see what we can make happen...

what are the advantages to a 3 piece wheel over the Champion Motorsport 1 pc... i know the CM's are forged with an 8000 ton press... allowing for a very lightweight super strong wheel...

i'm unaware of HRE's mfg process though, and if a 3 pc is going to be stonger that a single piece wheel...

    Hello Diesel'S4,

Please send me an email or give me a call at 949-861-8863 for HRE info!

    sweettalker,

Please send me an email about your experience. I would like to help you out with your situation. At the same, I would like clarify that although Carrozzeria Design provides service to TWC vehicles, TWC and Carrozzeria Design are separate organizations.

    Best regards,

    i haven't made my decision...

i'd like the HRE's but they are WAY more than the Champion MotorSport wheels...

although it's a 3 piece wheel, i can't see spending that much more money on the HRE's...

I still haven't made my final decision, as i have some other calls in for pricing...

true, but is that going to get me laid more...?

i doubt my wife even knows what HRE's are...

all she'd know is they were a $2000 set of wheels...

Hmmm, yeah, that'd be a problem. She might just see them as a really expensive set of wheels, as opposed to the hottness they are...

maybe you could use them as an aphrodisiac somehow

I'm pretty sure the 1 piece is going to be stronger then the 3 piece. The advantage of the 3 piece is obviously if you bend a lip or something, its an easier fix. If the HRE's are too much, you could always check out DTM Kreuz, Fikse, Angstrom, or Introforged. They all make forged wheels that are a bit cheaper then HRE.

i did look at those other companies, but none of the designs stickes me at all...

and i do not like the rivets or hardware on the normal 3 pc wheel... that's why i like the 840 series from HRE...

HRE are the sh!t Albeit, overpriced. Check out Iforged, very similar to HRE. Not sure, but I heard they are made in the same place.

Iforged, Angstrom, DTM Kruez, and DPE all offer their wheels in 2 piece also. i.e. no rivets.

Wheels usually take around a month to get after ordering.

HREs are beautiful pieces of art. I seriously dare anyone to visit the manufacturing facility of an "alternative" company and compare your visit to HRE. The quality of craftsmanship at HRE is unmatached by any...if you ever have the opportunity to visit HRE, please do...it'll satisfy every penny spent on your wheels. The wheel makers are very passionate car enthusiasts who take a lot of time detailing and perfecting your set of custom wheels.

If you are staying with retailers in PA, you might want to also give auto addictions a call. They deal in all that high end shit.

Auto Addictions has always been a rip off... i only ever used them as a place to do installs, and even then i thought they were kinda "okay"... it was just the closet place to get any aftermarket work done, that you didn't want your dealer to do...

AFAIK, it's not even AA anymore though... it was sold and it's now under a new name and management...
