    Halogen bulb question

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am thinking about gettting brighter halogen bulbs for my 02 A4 1.8t. The bulbs Audi has in there are 55 w. Could the headlights handle 65 w bulbs?

This is just a tempory solution until i get enough $$ for a HID kit.

Yes it will but stay away from anything much higher than 70 I'd say. SPP sells great HID look ones.

    www.hoen-usa.com or www.ambulbs.com(more selection).

here's my spp bulb. the bubble is obvious, and it also is not centered, bulb leans left.

spend a little more and get "real" quality bulbs.

you really should not be putting in higher wattage bulbs... you risk the chance of melting the housings and wiring...

    or possibly a fire...
