I'll give someone $1 towards this upgrade...

And then I would like to know the status of the upgrade at the end of the year.
Why are turbo kits so iffy on our cars? Software? Parts reliability? B6 engine stability? or are we all just to scared to f-up our $30k cars? I'm poor, what's all your guys' with $7k and over mods? Well, the $1 is there for the taking.

This weekend I will be installing a T3-T04E in my B6 Quattro.

I am using an ATP exhaust manifold (not my favorite, but it will work). I have a Tial 38 mm external wastegate, and my downpipe will be fabricated at a local exhaust shop out of 3 inch mandrel bends that I have bought.

The fueling will be provided by Bosch 440cc injectors (unfortunately the B6 does not have a fuel return line to the tank or a fuel pressure regulator, so the boost/timing will have to adjusted to the static fuel levels)

Charge temperatures will regulated by a Eurocode FMIC.

The boost will be controlled by an APEXi AVC-R, and the timing will be controlled by REVO SPS3.

I plan on using REVO software from Eurocode since David has spent a great deal of time doing BETA testing for the Audi 1.8t.

I feel that some of the benefits of going big turbo over say a E05, or K04 sport is that the larger turbo is working in the middle of its efficiency range as opposed to te upper 90 percent range for a modified KKK type of turbo. This leads to much cooler EGTs and charge temperatures.

Another reason that I coose to go this route is that by replacing all of the factory components with a bolt in replacement unit, it will be much easier to return the car bay to OEM, so I choose.

I will document the install for everyone to see, and will be very happy to answer any questions regarding how things are going/went.
