Lookie what came in the mail

Any one have this on thier vehical? I want to mount it in the space, just right of the emergency blinker switch (left of the pass heated seat switch) but the wiring isn't long enough to reach all the way to the ignition system. Any ideas on how to fix this. I have to hack off the harness anyway because they only make a wiring harness for japanese cars (disadvantage with buying a greddy) Any help would be appreciated.
I got it new for 75 bucks in case anyone is interested.

I have an hks, I swapped out the blue leds for red leds though. I have more smd leds if you're handy with a soldering iron. Just lengthen the wire to reach your ignition harness.

Ya I guess im gonna have to splice some wires on there. This screen apears to be back lit. Can I do something to make IT red? I don't know much about doing that type of conversion but I would like to. (have to stay tactical >=)

Oh ya, did you hook up a parking break shut off feature? If so where did locate the wire?

Mine is backlit too. If you're not handy with a soldering iron I wouldn't recommend modding it.

If I remember the parking brake wire was at the cluster. But it might have been at the switch. It's been a while.

I will be doing a bit of soldering between this project and the DIY VAG so maybe after I get the turbo timer in and my VAG built I will look into changing the color to red. If I do it I guess I will have to repaint the face from blue to black.

my question is... why would you want to.. just put the TT in an inconspicuous place.. and be the end of it.
you dont need to show it off as long as it does its job.
