It's not something police encourage but a 48-year old Surrey man has done his part to help in the war against auto theft. On Wednesday, someone stole his wife's Audi from the Scott Road Skytrain station and the couple spotted it just 15 minutes later in a nearby parking lot, with the thief still inside! The husband leapt into action, chasing the thief down, wrestling him to the ground, and throwing a few punches for good measure. The 20-year old suspect is now facing charges of assault, possession of stolen property and possession of break-in tools. Police say he's well known to them, and is also wanted on another local warrant.
