IMO, this a whole lot of work, and chances are you are going to screw up the insides of your housings, unless you are painstakingly careful... as when you are cutting up the lens there are going to be very small shards that are not going to come out...

I ran into this problem a few years back with my Galant, and after that debacle, i decided i would never try to clear the corners on any car ever again...

not to mention the remaining chrome that sits under the amber lens, does not look good...

"A whole lot of work" ????

It takes 30 min / side to do this mod. This is not a Galant and it's sooooo easy to do. Ecodes are the way to go but if you don't have the $$$, it's a good alternative.

It takes even less time if you disconnect the autoleveler, tilt up the lenses and slide the amber out the bottom. 10 Minutes max.

I had mine done for $100... It took approximately 1 1/2 hours bucause the damb glue would not dry..

Nevertheless, same look without the cash...

I wanted to get this done for a long ass time but no one in the Bay Area is avaliable to do this. OettyBasel is one but I can't get a hold of him. I don't trust myself doing this.
