New Skoda Octavia Estate - First Photos

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

The Å*koda Auto motor company shows the first official photographs presenting another car-body version of the new Å*koda Octavia model – the Å*koda Octavia estate car. The estate version is based upon the Octavia model introduced at the Geneva International Motor Show last spring.

The Octavia estate is different from the basic model in the body rear end offering even larger boot space – the basic arrangement has a capacity of up to 580 litres of luggage. If you fold down the rear seat (the backrest as well as seat base are folding and split in the ratio of 2:1), you will have a loading capacity of up to 1620 litres.

The Å*koda Octavia estate model is 4572 mm long, 1769 mm wide and 1467 mm high. Its range of power plants is identical to the Octavia model, which means that the customers can choose from a total of six power units: the 1.4 MPI/55 kW and 1.6 MPI/75 kW petrol engines; 1.6 FSI/85 kW and 2.0 FSI/110 kW direct injection petrol engines; or two diesel engines: 1.9 TDI-PD/77 kW and 2.0 TDI-PD/103 kW. The supply of gearboxes remains unchanged as well; apart from the standard five-speed and six-speed gearboxes, it is possible to opt for a six-speed automatic gearbox for all engines (except 1.4 MPI/55 kW); a direct shift gearbox (DSG) is available for the diesel engines. The new Å*koda Octavia estate will make its first official public appearance at this year’s international motor show Mondial de l’Automobile in Paris.
