    Opinions about "S-Line" badges

In Europe the "Ultra-Sport" package is sold as "S-Line Exterior Package". What do you think, would these badges look good in my Ultra-Sport? Either rear or on both rear side doors.

I don’t see the harm in putting them on. Everyone wants to do Euro lights and Euro bumpers, why not Euro badges as well? The S-line in Europe has been out for a few years. However, I believe S-line is a package upgrade on interior seats, wheel, shifter knob and brake handle along with exterior wheels, suspension and blacked out chrome around the windows. If I recall correctly, the bumpers were pure stock A4 for 2002 and 2003. Not sure abot the 2004's. I’ve seen the badges only on the side rear doors in Europe.

So go for it. You may be the first and only B6 in your area with the S-line badges. It would really confuse the service folks when you bring it in......

    Cheers,

I have the red T on the back of my car and s-line badges on the rear door trim. My car looks completely stock for those that don't know what they are looking at. There are a few subtle exterior hints as to what I have done power wise. Those being the brakes, exhaust, and these bdages. If my car was stock I wouldn't have put them on.

If YOU want to do it then don't mind what others think about it. What matters is what YOU like.

I’m not saying that the Audi service folks are retarded; it’s just that they are sometimes not up on the latest info out of Europe. My point was that there are no A4 S-line cars available in the States for retail sale and I’m sure that the service folks would take a double look at one with the S-line badges.
