In the market for an A4....

I've been lurking around these forums for quite some time now trying to learn all I can about A4's before I buy one, so I figured I may as well go ahead and register. I'm looking for a 99.5 or earlier 1.8TQM. I drive an Altima right now and would like to move on to something with a little more luxury and potential. My first venture into German engineering as well. Anyhoo, just thought I would get the word out since nice A4's for sale seem to be in short supply around here.

I've always had German cars in my bunch but I had a nissan altima as well for driving back and forth to NY. Very nice car and problem free. I wept when I sold it with 165k on it.

If you're looking for an audi, just check autotrader and cars.com. If you have an ebay account, shop ebay motors.

My advice would be to buy a 1.8T that hasn't been modded. That way you knew the car wasn't beaten up on. Good luck.

I would be willing to sell my A4, i am actually in the market for an S4. 1998 red 1.8tqm sport package, winter package. 75k and just had the timing belts and thermostat done.
