Has anyone drivin the new Subaru Legacy?

I was thinking about getting one for my wife and wanted to know what other A4 owners thought of the 250HP that they offer and the handling of the car.

The new legacy's HID's are bright as hell! That's all I know about that.

I have really been considering this car and want to test drive it. Based on the specs, it should be nearly as fast as a B5 S4. Both have about the same horsepower and almost same torque, although the S4 edges it out b/c it all comes on earlier. Of course, the Subaru is a tad lighter (84lbs at least).

So, performance wise they should be close (and it is easy to mod like the S4). I am curious what the interior looks like though. BTW, the Legacy wagon looks pretty good IMO.

Yeah. 250-Hp 2.5-liter DOHC intercooled, turbocharged aluminum-alloy 16-valve 4-cylinder horizontally opposed Subaru Boxer engine.

a lot of people have them in japan, especially the wagon version. Once I get settled in my new place I will take a trip out to Odaiba(where all the tuners hang on the weekends) and snap some pics of the latest machines.

Ha Ha. I was going to post a thread on this very subject. I just drove a brand new Legacy 2.5gt (I believe). To be completely honest, I was very impressed! Not only with the styling and motor, but the interior as well. The car I drove had perferated, heated leather seats. Everything seemed well put together inside and the materials even seemed to be of good quality. Don't know much about the motor. Seemed pretty quick, but not all that fast. Then again, I didn't really get to mash the gas for that long.

Those are smaller than the B5. I saw one last night and compared it with my car and it was less wider than mine. The front doesnt look the same cuz it didnt have the bulge on the headlamp. I guess I have to see the interior and handling.
