How fast has everyone gone in their Audi?

That is why I said "Track"...

I did a little over 165 tonight and my car was still pulling hard. I think I could have seen 180+ which would have been my all time high.

--my brother in law absolutely loves his s4. too bad he is lemoning it, but anyways he said the car is so solid that he feels comfortable cruising at 140

I will put my digital in the car for next time. I think a pic of the dash would make a nice sig. I hit 178 before in my old Pcar. That was 250 RPM"s into the redline in 5th. Tonight the car did not even shift into 6th until 155-160.

Now I have heard that the Treg will hit 150...

Why is he lemoning it? I would agree that the car is rock solid at speed. I do not think I have been in a more stable car.

I use to drive fast but not any more! I had a civic hb w/ a b18c5.
That got me into alot of trouble. so thats why i sold it! but i sure do miss going fast.
My X girlfriend. It wasn't her it was all my fault!!! jk

Coilpack failure problems. He bought the black b6 s4 avant used with 7k miles on it. Since he took delivery he has taken it in to have the coilpacks replaced about 6 times. Not worth the hastle. He absolutely loves the car- however the inconvenience with the coilpack issue was just intolerable and unacceptable.

About 135 and it seems like it could go more. When does the govenor kick in? I thought it was around that speed. Couldn't believe it let me go that fast.

135 mph

It's easy getting to 120 mph or so, but after that, it just crawls. It was tough getting it much past the 135 mph, even on a flat, wide open stretch of road - and this with the MTM Stage 2. I did 135-137 mph once with stock, but on a slight downhill grade. Top end isn't the best.

I maxed out at just under 155 going up hill a couple of weekends ago. Last night was downhill. I think 165 is about max on a flat road. I guess I need the camera for documentation. Does anyone know the final drive ratio MPH/1000 RPM's for the S4 Tip? It will be more accurate that way.

I will let you know. The more confirmation the better. Have you been to Group5 Motorsports yet? I want to get some stuff done to my car, but do not know who to use in South Orange/San Diego county.

I will be at Group5 this Friday. Getting my Koni/Stasis COs installed. I have only been there once and since they have moved to a newer, bigger shop. Seems like a good place. The owner has an awesome Oettinger A4.

They carry the full line of Stratmosphere stuff and I believe they make a few things for the S4. They also can get just about anything you want.

Hey JetBlue, i went to Group5 on friday and was definetly impressed. I've been searching for tuner shops that actually knew what an audi was and didn't feel like driving to LA to have things done. They actually have DV's for audis and other random products for audis on display. I'm going to have them do everything for my car. I'm going to have them do my DV as soon as i can.

Oh, BTW JetBlue, about swapping the silver trim around your windows with my black trim. The dealer said that it's one of those things that are meant to be done once, and that it my cause more damage to try to replace it. They said it would be very very pricey and not worth it.

No way, I know for a fact it's faster than that. I have a stock (speed limiter removed) A4 and according to GPS had the car to 142mph, with some left. I've just never really topped it out.
