I did that trick to output more bass, the Radio/NAV setting was at -7 initially, I cranked it up all the way to 0. I guess there is some difference, I usually listen at volume 13-17 so maybe didnt notice a difference in bass. Is that only to boost bass for radio ?
Anyway, my question is what do the other settings do ?

SVC ?
MAX-ON VOLUME ?

the 'MAX ON VOLUME' sets the level when you first turn your unit on. If you set the value to 0 then when you turn your HU on there will be no sound until you crank up the volume. Audi put this feature in just in case you forget that your volume is set high - so you don't have a coronary.

Speed Volume Control...

adjusts volume with engine speed, so the radio will not get drowned out by the road / engine noise...
