for the forge, did you happen to recieve any extra set of looser springs and spacers with the kit?

i think it sounds okay but the spring tension is too tight and flutters too much...

Don't lie. You were just telling me how much better your car ran with the forge spring in the stramosphere bpv. Give the guy his springs cheapskate.

LOL, who installs their DV in backwards. Hmm would the spring even fit in the Strat DV, I think the Forge actually has two springs, that's how these BOV's work.

Alex, if you don't like the sound I'll take it back, or you could probably sell it for more than I sold it to you!!!!

Actually Alex, are you sure you installed it in its correct position? I cant see why it would flutter in you car but not Drew's. I would try installing it opposite of how you have it now.
    Cheers! David

what? i dont think there is anohter way to install it. the return hose is completely plugged...

i dont know about you but at idle the valve wont even blow off until 4k rpm

the valve wont blow off unless i floor it in 1st gear and flutters most the time under anything less than full boost in other gears...

i was reading up on it and there are supposed to be a couple different colored springs and spacers that come with the valve so you can swap em out. i think the spring is just too tight.

yeah i am running that cone intake but i still fail to see why the intake would be a problem at all unless the valve is returning some air into it. if none of the charged air is being returned then it shouldnt matter what intake i have right? hmmm...

Bring it by Alex let me hear it. You're not going to get the BOV sound unless you floor it and let off. You're right the flutter sound wouldn't happen with the cone intake because there is no air coming back into it. I had none of the problems you're describing. If you don't want it I'll be happy to give your money back.
