Sunroof opens by itself???????

Whats up with this? My f#$king sunroof has decided to start opening on its own in the flip up position. Then when I try to close it the damn thing won't move. When I turn the knob the other way it will slide in halfway and thats it. So know my sunroof is stuck open. What do I need to do to fix this thing? My mom works for a glass company and said I should bring it by the shop tomorrow but I want my sunroof closed damnit. Its a 96 2.8Q if that matters.

You need to take the knob apart and clean the contacts. It's a common problem.
