I was reading a thread one time of some hidden features about b6's. And one of the things that I would like to know how to do is, how to program my remote for the alarm, to roll my windows up and down by the push of a button. Does anyone know how to do this or do you have to buy anything extra for the car etc. Thanks for any help or feedback.

you need to find a Vag-Com located near you to program these features, or have your dealer code it for you.

Can't you buy the Vag Com tool for about 80 bucks?

Maybe not, I just looked at two sites. obdtool.com had something for $71.

Then I searched 'vag com' on google and came up with a 'kit' for $599.

So, any experts can enlighten on this subject. 'Cause for $71 I'd go for it.

I know that I have heard a ton of people talk about a vag-com. But I do not even know what a vag-com is or what it is used for. I would appreciate any help. Sorry if that question sounds dumb.
