    HELP...what does this hose do? its leaking!

    Aiight, i posted this a while back before my accident but didn't get much response but here is a pic of Mike's car giving an idea of what is leaking. The red circles is where the leaks are. The white thingy that looks like my ex's nipple has a small hole in it and the hose on the left has a busted metal thingy with a leak too. It makes a LOUDDD hissing sound when the car is on (obviously). Power blows, but I wanted to know if any of you knew what those hoses do and how serious it is.

    that's a check valve. get it replaced asap. mine was cracked and it caused a whole mess of problems
