I have a Sony Vaio desktop... I updated the graphics card and thats about it.

I wanna move it into a CoolerMaster Tower w/ a better graphics card, more memory, and 4 USB 2.0 hubs... basically revamp it a little, my q is... can I do this, or will I run into a shitload of problems trying to transfer stuff from a pre-fab case to a custom one...?

never tried it, but the only thing you have to worry about is if the mobo mounting points are the same as in the new case. Also, you should have the manual for the mobo handy to see where your connections for the HD lights, speaker, power lights, power button, reset button, and usb. Otherwise just memorize them from the OEM case. Everything but the USB connectors should be in the same place.

    I get all my stuff a mwave.com

Not sure about the gfx card though... I usually just go to best buy for that.

go to sharkyextreme and go to "GUIDES". ON the left are value and high end system recommendations. Choose one and you can look up mobos, cases, cpus, GFX cards, RAM etc etc...

I don't think you will be able to move the mobo into the new case. Those propritary companies (Sony, HP, Compaq, Dell, Emachine, etc...) use a lot of proprietary parts and their parts generally only fit in their cases.

If UR going to spend the money on a new case, buy a new mobo, and cabbage parts from the vaio (Processor, memory, drives, etc...)
