The Official B7 A4 1/4 Mile Dragstrip Database

I finally had a chance to take my car to the strip for the first time. Unfortunately, due to some delays at the track (read: a car burned to the ground) I was only able to do 4 runs. My time improved drastically each run and I ended up with a fairly respectable 14.354 at 95. I know the car would be faster with a more practice. My car is APR stage 2 with an APR test pipe and stock cat back.

Anyway here are the slips for my runs.

i plan on going once i get my clutch rods and meth in.

None of us BT guys are into dragging our cars haha. too much strain on the drivetrain to launch properly... 12s can definitely be done though. high 11s can too

your probably not as far off as you think. there have been a couple k03 quattros hit 13.7x a k0r with internals can be pushed a good bit more.

Puts more strain on the rear axles, but it's their car so of course they can beat on it. However as a company providing a product, it makes sense to tell their customers to be more conservative then they are.

Without consideration of stress, I would think the 4:1 diff would be more ideal for launching since you have less chance of bogging.

I lost count of how many times my car has launched a long time ago and my clutch could care less. Broken synchros?? How did that happen? You would be surprised how stout these cars can be. Feel free to watch the story of my car, as it will see more abuse (JHM style) than any other a4.

This is purely an opinion. I care greatly for my car and care more about my wallet. The fact is that when a car is built correctly and driven correctly your wallet isn't going to suffer.

ive put 15k on my clutch from daily driving to multiple 5k launches, with no faults. I drive my car with enthusiasm but i can do that because i take good care of my car. Plus I enjoy supporting the people who have the same views as i do.

We went back to the track to test out our JHM B7 A4 2.0T 93 Octane Tuning using all of the same parts from our previous 91 Octane run and set a new record in the process!

We can, but we don't like to. We prefer to have the car in our hands so the tune can be much more dynamic. Also, if there is a hardware issue we will be able to figure it out quickly.
