I slammed my ride about 1 month ago, and put my new wheels on. I got Koni Shocks with Neuspeed Sport Springs. After the install and the new wheels on, I started to notice that when I drive about 120KM, my steering wheel SHAKES REALLY BAD. But it doens't happen all the time, this is the weird part. I didn't do alignment yet, nor have I bought new lug nuts for my new wheels. Is it still safe to drive? What do you think the problem is? And for people who know DTM Kreuz wheels, what style lug nuts do I need? I'm still using the stock's.

    Any help is appreciated. TIA.

My first guess is your new wheels aren't properly balanced. I had this happen on another car--shop balanced it for lower speeds (40-60 mph) but i had shaking only at higher speeds and only in a certain window (75-85 mph). Take it back and have them do it again.

    Alex,

Do the alignment (it's a must), have the wheels rebalanced and get some lug bolts.

Here's the one I got WITH my Kreuz's.

For sure check the balancing on those wheels.

Your wheels should have come with the correct length bolts and more importantly, the correct seating. Some seats are spherical, some tapered. When you have the correct bolts they need to be Torqued to 90 ft. lbs. Once you have done this, get the wheels balanced and get an alignment. Personally I would not drive the car until I had the correct bolts installed.

agree with the above. Get the alignment down and re-balanced as soon as you can.
