mine is the same as Joe's, and can be seen by clickin the link under my sig..

i have the autometer sport comp Gauge

stuff i had to buy to get it installed were:

a length of vacuum hose (it never hurts to have some spare incase you end up getting a leak in one of the many vac hoses our cars use)

and a 1/8" T fitting to tap the vacuum line in the car.

then ofcourse i made my own pod, which i now sell.

    For you double-DIN owners.

Autometer Z-series boost, EGT and oil pressure gauges. Total cost for everything + install kits was about $275, plus the need for basic tools and a power drill.

    Here is my old setup:

    Twin 60mm Greddy gauges (Boost+EGT)
I made the pod on the right first (just like Overspuns pods) but then later cut up the stock vents.. I sold the car before i had a chance to make the second pod out of the other vent

Yeah i did. At the time when i bought it, that was the only years available. I just checked the site to see what you were talking about and damn $150 for an updated universal one. Ripoff. Get the $20 one. It should work. Unless your 01 a-pillar is strangly different.

Actually, you know my pod isnt really attached, i just have it stuck on by double sided tape . I can take it off with ease, if you'd like to see if it'll fit on your a-pillar, we can do that before you order.

exactly. it was a 125 price difference and i figured the a pillar can't be THAT different... if i can check yours out before i buy, that'd be awesome. i'm not much of a person who is into drilling holes in my car or leaving marks of modifications.. that double sided tape would be interesting.. wonder if its strong enough to hold up the dual guage a pillar pod... :-)

It doesn't really stick that well to the a-pillar fabric. It'll hold the first time, but the adhesive will weaken (in the sun) and it'll come loose. I just have my pod crammed in the bottom corner there, so it doesnt move much. Not sure if it will hold two gauges up, but you can try, it beats screwing stuff in and messing up that nice a-pillar.

If you want to check out the pod, PM me and let me know

    - AWE 52mm boost gauge
    - Mounted in center vent
    - All mounting hardware and accessories included with the gauge: bracket for the gauge, T fitting, and hose.
    - I removed the vent and cut a whole in it to fit the gauge. Gauge is powered by N75 relay. Cut a hole throught the duct and passed it throught the fire wall by the ecu.

I personally like this setup. Looks OEM...not too drastic, not that there's anything wrong with too drastic

    Thanks

It's real CF, but it's stick over...I bought it on ebay, but didn't install the whole kit. Didn't like how it would stick over the other panels. Just the center panel looked good. I'm going to try to make a CF replacement soon. I'll let you know how it turns out.
