    hey guys,

    noobie from australia here
just wondering what you guys have done to your CVT's?
has anyone actually hit the so-called torque limit?
i have a friend in singapore whos running a k04 and other stuff, and guessing that his torque at crank is around 375nm.. still all good, hasn't had a hiccup yet.

down under, everything seems so much more expensive to do, and theres a lot less tuners around for euro cars

and lastly, who has run the 1/4 mile and who is the fastest?

    cheers.

Welcome aboard! I haven't heard of any CVT failure related to too much torque. Maybe we are underestimating its capacity to handle torque. On the other hand, some chip/software makers go easy on the torque for CVT's.

There was a thread recently on 1/4 mile times, do a search, it wasn't that long ago.

You aussies may not have many tuners for euro cars but you do have a lot of nice V8's rolling around.
