What was your first car?

Here is my piece of junk Fiat 128. It got me through Vet school, at 150,000 miles. It got 3 miles to the gallon (water that is, the oil looked like a milkshake).



I did a little better on my second car. It is amazing what a real job can do.

my first true CAR is my a4 avant, my first vehicle was an 84 s10. i had it for like 10 weeks before a dude crashed into it and totalled it.

I'm not a huge jay z fan (he's really good, but i'm not super huge on that type of hip hop), but this cd is ridiculous. I have it and the paul nice remix as well, both are amazing. I like them both a lot more than the straight black album.

1980 Mercedes Benz 240D. It was slow. and it didnt have air conditioning. i hated life with a passion when i had to drive that car. The 240D is one of the last benzos to of used hay(the farm kind) as seat cushoning, im not joking.

1986 Mustang auto 6 cylinder. T-tops leaked like they werent on in the rain. Biggest pos in the world.

1984 Pontiac Firebird. 6 cylinder/ 5 speed,, lots of rust. It burned and leaked over a quart of oil a day. Ended up blowing the engine once when it got to low.

You are feeling old...most of these guys weren't even born when they made mine Some weren't born by the time I gave it away in '86 (which is the model year of the land cruiser)

That was a great Bronco, well worth the effort to get running. It was so typical of ford to take such a great car and ruin it, just like they did with every other decent car they made.

oh, my first car was a
plymouth tourismo 2.2 5spd.. went through 2 trannys, crashed once in the rain at 17 way too baked.. had it about 4ft in the air 3 different times, governed to 115mph and shakey.

First was a '70 Plymouth RoadRunner 383HP stock with Air Grabber hood scoop 335HP (Factory). I paid $1,500 for it in '77. In '78 I tore the engine down and rebulit it with the 12 sec Direct Connection Parts right out of there catalog. Friend worked at a Dodge dealer and got the parts at his employee pricing. I also placed a "Fairbanks" 727 Torqueflite with 11" 5,200 rpm stall speed converter (with a big trans oil cooler) in it with my Dana 60 4.10 rear-end. The car did awesome burnouts!


Second car was a '69 Beettle that I converted to a Domus Flatback and I built a 1850cc with twin Weber DCNF carbs, was 150HP and placed a Gene Berg Trans and diff in it right before I sold it to some guy in Calif for $6,000 (had $3,000 in it). Posted it in Hot VW's for a month. I never got sooo many phone calls on a car in my life. It was great for drag racing too.

My first car was a 1979 1275GT mini. I bored it out to 1400cc and put high lift cams on it as well as an oil cooler and loads of other small mods ( uprated brakes and suspension etc.). She was a really quick car and I still miss her now but I wouldn't be without my A4 1.8T

Surprisingly enough, I got more play in that van than in my a4 so far -_-;
