plethera of ebay buys

I spent a few hours last night looking through the bagillions of things that you can buy for an Audi A4 B5 off of ebay. Have you guys found anything worth looking at... or are most of that stuff junk? ie: front headlight/corners with black housing, smoked tails, short antennas, c/f mirrors, etc.

these are all of the things i have been looking for or bough on eBay. I'm not really looking for too crazy of stuff. I'm just trying to save a little cash by waiting for a good auction to come along. I am probably going to go through eBay when I buy a new set of wheels and tires. I have also been waiting for the correct ecu with apr programming to come available on eBay.

I would stick to the Classifieds on here, and on AW for good deals.

I'm not a fan of Ebay. Too many scams, and too much crap. Not that scams don't occur on the forums too, but you at least can get some background on the person before buying.

Although I wouldn't buy anything from someone in the forums that only has a few posts, and they all happen to be "for sale" listings.

I've been screwed over on eBay before, but you won't if you're careful. You can get some really great buys, I just bought a set of 1 piece projectors for $176 and they're in mint condition as well as a full Reiger kit brand new for $795.

Where did you get the Rieger kit for $795?

I've actually seen those too. I saw one for $699. Under "automotive - accessories" search for audi or audi. Sort by price and go to the page that has items for around $700 and you should find them.

The person is on eBay selling rear window spoilers. It's not the full bumper but the type R lip, V2 sides, V2 rear and rear window spoiler. You have to email him and ask. Just type in Audi Rieger and the auctions should come up.

Yeah it was pretty good I managed to pick up those RS4 K04's for 1000USD, so there are definately some bargains to be had.

best thing i've ever seen on ebay for an audi is the oem rs4 bumper for like 699, that is such an awesome price. all you need are the fogs and your set with a normally $1200 setup

yeah, I saw that for the same price. so that is a good deal. I haven't looked at getting one through the dealer yet, but was thinking about it. What are the additional cost of the fogs, or can I use A4 OEM fogs?

Is there a lot of tweaking to be done to get the rS4 bumper to fit on a 2000 A4 avant, or is it a direct bolt on?

rs4s are widebody, so the bumper is slightly wider.. a good bodyshop should be able to do a little custom work and make it fit flawlessly.
