Thats "doable" right, and I will be using at least 5mm spacers for a wide looking stands. I shouldn't rub right?

Yes, it's doable, but you will most likely encouter some rubbing in the fronts. What width are your wheels, and what's the offset? I have 8.5" wheels and the offset is 35mm. I had some rubbing, but I got rid of it ALL when I rolled my fenders. I usd the baseball bat method, and worked great. Do a search for fender rolling. There was a thread on it about a week ago.

I run 245/35/18's with no rubbing on H&R Race.

245's a bit wide with 40s, but lieke sherpa did, u could prolly get away with that width of yu've got 35 profiles. 40 will rub for sure. but nothing some rolling can't fix

    Question

The rims are 18x8 w/ 35mm offset. I was hoping I wouldn't have to roll my fenders. Also there's no way I'll go with 35 series tires, not in N Virginia! May just have to go with 235's, need to do some serious research. You think staggering my wheels would be stupid? 245's in rear 235's upfront?

hmm, maybe over some steep bumps you may get a rub without having them rolled. I'd stick with 235's
