someone hit my car

I parked my car in princeton last night...saw it this morning and someone smacked me on the drivers side. My rear wheel is all scaped up, the back corner of the bumper and some of the passanger door. My car has become a destruction derby car....every week, there is another scratch on and now this! I am thinking about repainting my car...I plan on only having it for another year, but I think it will help is resale or trade in value....what do you guys think.....i am going to get the wheel fixed....but do you guys think I should repaint my car.....my front bumper has little chips and marks all over it and the rear bumper has a lot of shit all over the damn thing, now the side of the car and the passanger side has a few things that won't buff out.....just let me know what you guys think I should do, or what you would do.....Thanks

i doubt it...i dont see why I could....I dont mind spending the money because its really starting to piss me off

claim it as a hit & run, cuz that's what it is. insurance will pay for the repair, you just pay the deductible. and depending on your ins company, you may get reimbursed for the deductible since it was not your fault.

With any insurance I have dealt with, it does not matter who was at fault. That's why it's "insurance".

Most companies will raise your premiums if you have a certain number of incidences that are your own fault. Some companies can also raise your rates even if you're not at fault, because they can label you as an "accident prone" person.

They get you either way. Personally, if the repair costs a lot more than your deductible, then claim it. If it's not much over your deductible, don't claim it.
