Painting Interior Trim...

I would like to paint the interior trim black instead of buying carbon fiber or whatever. But I don't want it too glossy. I'd like a matte finish. What paint do I use and what can I use to protect it from chipping? Is this even possible? TIA

I know Avantéix painted his interior trim but he seems to be on vacation right now. Haven't posted for quite some time now.

Too bad you don't want "too glossy" , I'd sell you my 03 black trim.

No pics needed, just regular stock black trim that came with the 2003.

hey i painted 1 piece black because it didn't came whith my new trim. tomorrow i will take some pic's to it. and post them to see if you like them.
by the way, i painted it whith a comon spray bottle.

I guess having a glossy finish is fine with me. Maybe I should purchase a set of trim, any color, sand it down, paint it and see how it comes out, because I'll be damned if I try it on my trim first and have it not come out nicely. Anybody selling their interior trim for cheap?

You can't pull up too many steep driveways can you? How's paint of the very bottom of the Sportec front valence holding up? A lot of scraped paint?

Why would I lie to you? I sold it to a Canadian member.

It's not as bad as you think. Sure I have to be careful but I've always been, even before the Sportec front. It's the price to pay to look good I guess

I just took it off, and took it to my body shop.. But just like anything that gets painted, gotta sand it and prime it then paint it
