Anyone Slammed and have issues with their control arms?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Well i guess with my neuspeed race the drop is so low that my control arms are slightly hitting the spindal when making a sharp turn (when i move the steering wheel as far as it can go). Also happens when i go over speed bumps when turning.

Its a minor noise but i was just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

Hey Crazy Q, do you have an update on your suspension? Just curious about wether or not the issue was with the fact that you were on NS race springs. TIA

Yes, take a 10 lbs sledge hammer and hit the inner fender wheel well to push it back a bit. This will allow the spindle to move freely under turn and compressed supension situations. No shit!

I'll try that... but I'll wait till I'm pissed at my car to justify beating it w/ a hammer... lol.

Mine does the same thing, pass side only. I'm running NS sport on 18's. I think I'll try the sledgehammer.

Actually, if you look inside the wheel well it is at the top rear. You should see where the protective undercoating got ripped and you might see some metal. Hit the sh!t out out it right there in that spot. You won't have to "dent it in" that much.
