Im getting a boost flutter, it will spike to 23lbs then drop to about 16 then spike back to 20lbs and hold.. figured im about due for a new N75 since i have 72k miles

ive been reading about the difference versions, 034906283F being our recommended replacement for the C version, but ive seen several people running the 034906283J or J version on 1+ programs... i wouldnt mind a few more lbs boost or it holding better... i know there isnt a whole lot i can do for my poor k03 but anyone running a N75J on a APR 1+ without a MBC?

Not that this helps you, but I will be soon. On my MKIV, I'm running the "J" with the Neuspeed Pchip, no problems for over 200K, This might be worth saying, I don't know, just trying to help, have you ever cleaned out your TB? I was once having a similar issue & cleaned that out along with cleaning my MAP sensor & Temp sensor & my problem vanished. Not exactally sure which one fixed it but again, I'm not an expert, newbie here acutally.

It's possible that your MAF is going bad, are you going into Soft limp mode at all? (not boosting above 5psi)

The "J" valve wont do what you hope, the reason it seams to increase output, is due only to the increased boost spike that occurs with the "J" valve. Aside from that, the chance for unstable control of boost at high loads is more likely to occur.

    Re: Who is running a N75 J?

i ran one with neuspeed chip it would hold .1bar more than requested like 1.4bar (chip was 1.3bar) then i got a 93 octane stage 1+ APR and it didn't do squat; turbo was out of breathe. sold it to a VW dude and put the stock back on.

no point in spending money on something that ultimately didn't help.

then again the stage 1 neuspeed with lemmiwinks++ was about just as good as the stage 1+ APR during most of the summer; I just don't like pushing injectors that are 5 years old so hard.
